Window film done right, from measure to final squeegee
Residential · Commercial · Chicagoland
Refined Window Film Solutions installs window film on homes, condos, offices and storefronts across Chicago, the suburbs, Indiana and Wisconsin. We're the residential and commercial side of Refined Auto Aesthetics, so the same installer who's trusted with high-end car tint is the one working on your glass.
Every job starts with your windows, not a sales pitch. We look at which way the glass faces, what type of glass it is, and what's actually bothering you: heat, glare on screens, faded floors, or neighbors who can see in. Then we show you real film samples on your own windows so you know exactly what you're getting.
Fully insured, and you deal with the owner directly. Fill out the form and we'll follow up to set up a time to come out.

Window film questions
Straight answers before anyone comes out to measure.
Will window film make my rooms dark?
Only as dark as you choose. Light films block heat and glare while looking close to clear glass. We bring samples so you can see each one on your own windows before deciding.
Can people see in at night?
With reflective films, the privacy works one way during the day: you see out, people outside see a reflection. At night, when the lights are on inside, that flips and people can see in. For privacy around the clock, frosted or decorative film is the right choice, and we will point that out when we look at your windows.
Does window film block UV?
Yes. Most quality window films block over 99% of UV, which is a major cause of fading on floors, furniture, artwork and merchandise.
Will film affect my window warranty?
Some window manufacturers have rules about which films can go on their glass. We look at your glass type before recommending a film so the choice is compatible with your windows.
How long does installation take?
Most homes and small storefronts are done in a day. Larger commercial jobs are scheduled in phases, and we can plan around your business hours.
Do you work outside Chicago?
Yes. We cover all of Chicagoland, and we travel throughout Indiana and Wisconsin. A travel fee applies outside the Chicago area, and we include it in your estimate up front.
Can window film be removed later?
Yes. Film can be removed professionally and the glass cleaned, which makes it a good fit for renters and leased commercial spaces.
